Who can join HomeStove as a home chef?
HomeStove is for anyone who cooks with love at home — women, men, couples, and whole families are all welcome to show off their culinary skills. The only requirement is that you're 18 or older.
Do I need FSSAI registration/licence to join?
No, not to sign up. You can join the waitlist without FSSAI. When we activate your pincode we'll share a plain-English guide so you can register for a basic FSSAI licence yourself. It is usually cheap, around ₹2000 to ₹5000 per year depending on the state you live in.

Do I need to invest any money?
There's no upfront investment in a kitchen or equipment. A small HomeStove subscription only kicks in once you turn your home cooking into a professional setup.

What if my area isn't live yet?
Go ahead and pre-register now — there's no subscription to take yet. We'll reach out the moment we're serviceable in your area.
We open new areas carefully to keep a healthy balance between demand and supply, so you won't be waiting long — we're on it.
How do I get paid?
Payments run through Razorpay Route: the customer's payment flows straight to your bank account. HomeStove is only the bridge — we never hold or touch your money.
Razorpay charges its standard per-transaction fee, which is deducted from your selling price, and the balance reaches your account within 24 hours.
